ID Energy Group is currently looking for a
Solar Project Development Manager – Romania to originate, manage and follow its project development activities in Romania.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the administrative and technical aspects of the permitting process of solar energy projects in Romania
- Review all the necessary technical designs and studies required prior and during the project development process (technical layouts, connection studies, etc.)
- Identify suitable lands and connection points for the development of greenfield projects
- Conduct a regular grid status analysis and liaise with the distribution and transmission grid system operators
- Manage the negotiation of land agreements and maintain contact with the related landowners for the new and existing projects until the achievement of the Ready-To-Build status
- Manage the technical due diligence for project acquisitions and support on the negotiation of the relevant contracts
- Follow constantly the updates in the local renewable energy market regulations
- Report to and liaise with the regional team based in Budapest on a regular basis
Requirements:
- At least 2-5 years of hands-on experience in the development and permitting of renewable energy projects, preferably solar photovoltaics
- University degree in engineering
- Experience in securing land plots and negotiation of land agreements is highly advantageous
- Exceptional to-the-point communication skills
- Very responsive, flexible and ensures on-time delivery
- Native in Romanian. Fluent in English. Knowledge of Hungarian or Spanish languages is a plus
- Driving license
Business Development Manager – Romania to originate, manage and follow its local development and investment activities in Romania.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the early stage of development of solar energy projects in the Romanian market
- Originate new greenfield project developments, as well as identify advanced-stage projects for acquisition
- Maintain the relationship and negotiate the necessary contracts with external stakeholders e.g. local project developers, electricity off-takers, land owners, public entities and business partners
- Support the project development team to ensure the achievement of the Ready-To-Build status of the projects in a timely manner
- Have a good understanding of project financing structures and financial modelling
- Conduct market research and follow closely the updates in the local regulations within the renewable energy sector
- Support on the M&A activities in Romania
- Report to and liaise with the regional team based in Budapest on a regular basis
Requirements:
- At least 2-5 years of hands-on experience in the Romanian renewable energy sector, preferably solar photovoltaics
- University degree in engineering or business
- Specific experience in the development of renewable energy projects is highly advantageous
- Experience and understanding of the M&A related agreements, joint-development agreements as well as the land agreements
- Knowledge of project site securing, interconnection and permitting process of electricity generation projects
- Exceptional to-the-point communication skills
- Very responsive, flexible and ensures on-time delivery
- Native in Romanian. Fluent in English. Knowledge of Hungarian or Spanish languages is a plus
